I will make you Fishers of Men
divider

As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee,
he saw Simon and his brother Andrew
casting a net into the lake,
for they were fishermen.
"Come, follow me," Jesus said,
"and I will make you fishers of men."
At once they left their nets and followed him.
When he had gone a little farther,
he saw James, son of Zebedee
and his brother John in a boat,
preparing their nets.
Without delay he called them,
and they left their father Zebedee
in the boat with the hired men
and followed him.

Fishing For The Master
bullet

I have always been fond of fishing
Since I was a little tot.
Some of my fondest memories
Center around fish I caught.

June mornings on the ocean waves
With mackerel hitting hard.
The waters rippling and boiling,
The schools act like hungry sharks.

And those days upon the waters
With my earthly dad,
Bring back precious memories
Of the good times that we had.

But my fishing buddy passed away,
For years no lines I wet.
I set aside my tackle box
Fishing pole and net.

Then one day I met the Savior,
Who took away death's sting.
I now have a heavenly Father
Who is my every thing.

And once again I'm fishing,
But I don't even take a pole.
For the game I'm going after
Is lost and dying souls.

I have a new fishing partner;
I no longer land mackerel and sole.
I'm fishing with the Master,
And we're reeling in human souls.

Life's never been more exciting
Since becoming a fisher of men.
I love trolling for sinners
Hooking and reeling them in.

In fishing with the Master
No greater joy I've found.
I pray I'll lay at Jesus' feet
The soul winner's crown.
