Star Spangled Heroes
Star spangled heroes
Red, white and blue
Fighting for our country
Fighting for me and you.
Marching in to battle
Standing proud and tall
Pride on their faces
Courage one and all.
Waiting for the day break
Bombs blasting in the distance
Capturing enemy soldiers
Fighting with much resistance.
God grant them safety
Forever is our plea.
Bring them home to loved ones
Waiting so patiently.
Don't let them be discouraged
These military women and men
But give hope for tomorrow
And strength from deep within.
Star Spangled Heroes
Yes heroes indeed
They give of their best
They give out of our need.
We'll keep a candle burning
'Til each of you comes home.
Our hearts forever yearning.
To say, 'You're not alone.'
