Misty water color memories
Of days so long ago
Or, was it only yesterday
Our love began to grow?

There were roses by the dozen
Moist from morning dew
Yielding scents of sweet perfume
Hand picked for me from you.

As our song began to play
You held me in your arms
Promising your love for me...
My heart, you soon had won.

Misty watercolor memories
So precious, every one
Nurtured by the years we've shared
Make life much sweeter Hon,

As curtains on a center stage
Close softly on life's scene.
Memories bring you close to me
If only in my dreams.
