Morning Light In the early morning light Stepping out on the morning dew, As if by chance I'd find you there To share a moment with you. A place for us to quietly sit Enjoy the songbird's trill; And watch the sunrise in the east Just above the buttercup hill. A ray of sunshine kisses your face And adds a gentle glow. Sighing deeply, such sweet content; A look only you would know. Hands entwined we leave our place Of quiet serenity. We'll meet again another day. To share sweet ecstasy.
