Morning shadows dancing

Across the eastern sky

Whisper their good mornings

As I begin to rise

Golden light is glistening

Against a royal blue

Standing at my window

My thoughts now turn t’wards you

I wonder if you’re sharing

This beauty of the skies

Wrapped in vibrant colors

God’s Candy for the eyes

I hope you sense my prayer

Before your day begins

I ask the Lord to bless you

And keep you close to Him

As the day is ending

 I lay my head to rest

I’ll think again of you

As I watch the red sunset
