Guilty How many celebrated On the streets of Calvary, As the Savior bled and died, So that all may be set free? Did they realize His love Was far greater than their hate? As He hung upon the Cross, Was His guilt their strong debate? Two thieves hung there beside Him, One taunted…one exclaimed, "Forgive me, I'm a sinner, I deserve this death and pain." Yes, Jesus was found guilty, And placed upon the tree, To die the sinner's death. O' sinner, don't you see? Guilty was their verdict, And still rings true today. He was guilty of such love, That He arose from the grave. | | |
