Hope lies deep within me,

There Christ alone resides.

He took my sins upon Him,

He paid a costly price.

There is none other like Him,

His love, eternal reigns.

Should I ever falter,

In weakness, He sustains.

In times of trials and testing,

To Him, I’ll always go,

Because He walked before me,

Compassion He will show.

Ascending into Heaven,

A promise Jesus made,

“I’ll prepare a place for you.”

“You shall be with me someday.”

The promise was for all,

Who have trusted in His Word.

Take heed His invitation,

Experience the New Birth.
