He Has Risen

He’s Alive

Soon, we will be celebrating the resurrection of our Savior. There will be many sunrise services, Church services, musical and theatrical reminders of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.

My heart stirs within me with joy. Imagine the joy Mary must have felt as she heard the proclamation of the angels. She ran to the disciples yelling, “He’s alive, He’s alive!”

She saw the empty tomb and heard the good news, “He is not here, but is risen; remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, “ The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.”

Luke 24: 6,7 KJV The revelation of Jesus’ words flooded her heart and soul.

As we celebrate this wonderful miracle of God, let us not forget that Jesus is no longer in the grave, but very much alive! If we are not careful, we will stay in mourning. Weep if you must for the horrible death, but don’t keep Jesus in the grave, he is not there, “He’s alive, Hallelujah!”

He’s interceding for you, and for me while seated on the right hand of our Father. We are free to approach our Heavenly Father because of the precious blood sacrifice of the Son.

If you don’t know Jesus in a personal way, come boldly to the throne room of grace. Don’t hold back in fear. For while we were yet sinners, Christ died for you! He has paid the price once… and for all time.

John 3:16, 17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. KJV

Yes, Jesus is alive forever more, and one day very soon, he’s coming back for those who have believed and trusted in his name. Have you believed? Are you ready for his coming?
