There's a little bit of country
In this heart of mine.
I wander through the pastures
Just to drop a fishing line.

 

Honeysuckles blooming
Sweet scents are in the air.
All is well with me.....
As my thoughts, with God, I share.

 

Cattle lowing softly
While newborn babies sleep
Inching ever closer
Just to take a peek.

 

Yes, there's a little bit of Country
In this heart of mine
God placed it here forever
I believe it's His design.

 

Lord, help me to remember
How blessed I am to see
The beauty of the country
Draws me closer yet to Thee.
